Schneider St. Preux Promoted to Director of Bus Operations for Broward County Transit

COMTO Miami salutes Schneider St. Preux on his promotion as the new Director of Bus Operations for Broward County Transit. In his role, he will be responsible for all operational activities for bus operations in the 2nd largest transit agency in the state of Florida.

Schneider began his career with the Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation & Public Works as a Bus Operator in 2012. He worked his way through the ranks where he served as a Scheduler, Bus Traffic Controller, Division Superintendent, and now a Section Chief. He joined COMTO in 2013 and served on various committees and as the Miami Chapter Parliamentarian. He was the recipient of the COMTO First Transit Scholarship in 2017 and he completed the Eno Transportation Senior Executive Program in 2021.

Schneider St. Preux is a graduate of Florida International University where he obtained a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration. He also has a Graduate Certificate in Public Finance, Procurement, and Contract Management. He is thankful to his many mentors throughout his career for their guidance and encouragement. Schneider credits the love of his wife Kilishi and the support of his three boys, Charles, Isaiah and Ezekiel as the key to his success.
