Bentleys People of Color US (POCUS) presents-Dr. Michell Tollinchi, Director of the Posse Foundation. 
Dr. Tollinichi is an expert on the subject of helping underserved first generation students succeed in higher education and the future.  The work the Posse has been praised by leaders such as: General Colin Powell, Former COO of Facebook-Sheryl Sandberg, News correspondent Lesley Stahl and Senator Elizabeth Warren.

1. Posse Scholars graduate at a rate of 90 percent.
2. Since 1989, Posse’s partner colleges have awarded more than $2 billion in scholarships to Scholars.
3. More than 12,000 Scholars have been selected to date.
4. 63 partner colleges and universities award Posse Scholarships each year.

Global and National Recognition

1. In 2010, Posse was honored by President Barack Obama with a portion of his $1.4 million Nobel Prize award, one of 10 organizations he chose to recognize.
2. Posse President + Founder Deborah Bial was awarded a 2007 MacArthur "Genius" Fellowship for her innovative work in college access.
