    Lidy is the Risk Financing Manager at the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT). She is responsible for managing elements of the Department’s risk financing programs., including insurance programs and loss exposures, procurement and underwriting, cost of risk analysis and budgeting, and more.

    She was the recipient of the “Financial Management Award” given by Mass Move 2000 and the City of Boston. She has also received numerous other awards, such as the “Special Achievement Award” and “Leadership Award” for her advocacy for the Filipino-American Community.

    Lidy served as the State Chair of the National Federation of Filipino Americans Associations (NaFFAA) and currently serves as Arts, Culture and Entertainment Director. She served on the Board for an educational organization called Iskwelahang Pilipino in Bedford, MA.

    She currently serves as Director of Philippine American Mainstream Advocacy for Non-Partisan Associations, Inc. (PAMANA).

    She is a member of the St. Mary’s Choir and served as an Asst. Treasurer of the Massachusetts Cultural Council (Town of Foxborough).

    Lidy received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Southwestern University and completed her Associate in Risk Management at the Insurance Institute of America.

    She currently holds a position as a President of the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) Boston Chapter since 2016. She is also a member of the Chapter Development Committee, COMTO National. She served as Treasurer for 2 terms 2012-2016 with COMTO Boston Chapter

    She holds the title of Fil-Am Rhode Island Queen 2018 hosted by Fi-Am of Newport, and Mrs. American Pearl 2020 hosted by Mrs. Pearl Philippines USA, Inc.

Dear friends, the summer is here and once again COMTO Boston would like to invite you to join us at our Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament on Monday, August 19, 2024, at the William J. Devine Golf Course at Franklin Park in Boston, MA.
