The 10th Annual COMTO Celebrating Women Who Move the Nation (CWWMN) Awards Breakfast on March 16, 2022, was a tremendous success! COMTO members, partners and supporters came together in Washington, DC, to honor 16 women leaders from all modes of transportation who are transforming and disrupting the industry. Our honorees did not disappoint and left the sold-out room of attendees inspired, awe-struck and even in tears with their moving speeches. 

“The group of women we choose for this award never cease to amaze me,” said COMTO Board Chair Tanya Adams. “We purposely select women who represent the gamut of what transportation offers. I know that these women will continue to accomplish even greater things in our industry.”

The event signaled COMTO’s return to in-person events after a 3-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

“It is great to get COMTO back to in-person events, and we could not think of a better way to do so than our signature Celebrating Women Who Move the Nation Awards Breakfast,” said COMTO President & CEO April Rai. “Year after year, we continue to get a phenomenal response from inside and outside the transportation industry to these awards. It is our honor to create a platform where women leaders in transportation can be celebrated and heard.”
