Transportation Symposium " A Tale of Two Cities"

NASHVILLE – Transportation and business leaders will gather for a transportation symposium on Thursday, February 2 at the Nashville Airport. The theme is “A Tale of Two Cities: Nashville and Atlanta.” Speakers will include Rosalind Tucker, Managing Director of Mobility Services at the Atlanta Regional Commission; Steve Bland, WeGo Public Transit CEO; Doug Kreulen, President and CEO of BNA; and Victor Tyler, President of Tyler Construction Engineers. The symposium is presented by the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) Nashville.

“We’ll be discussing the transportation industry today and the hurdles it overcame during the pandemic,” said Kia Lewis, President of COMTO Nashville. “There will be a second presentation, in an effort to assist with business development, titled “Why do a Bid, No Bid Analysis?”   

The symposium will start with a continental breakfast at 8 a.m. and be followed by a networking opportunity. It will be held at the Consolidated Service Facility, 815 Hangar Lane at the Nashville Airport. The event is free and open to the public, but registration must be completed at Eventbrite.
